Registration for volleyball will open in mid-October with player assessments to be held at the end of October.  Two seasons will be offered:  Winter and Spring.  Winter Season runs December-March and Spring Season runs February-May.  The Winter Season will require regional travel and will consist of fewer teams.

Teams will be formed based on each girls' assessed skill level.  Each team will engage in skill development led by top-tier coaches.  Practices will be held two nights per week and each team will compete in 4-5 weekend tournaments.  Deacon Flames supports Junior Olympic volleyball, not a recreational league.

Practices will be held at Trinity Elementary School in West Fargo, Nativity Elementary School in Fargo, Shanley High School in Fargo, and St. Joseph's School in Moorhead.  Local teams will participate in Saturday tournaments in the Fargo area while Regional teams may require some travel to provide a higher caliber of competition.

All girls, regardless of skill level, will be provided an opportunity to play in the spring season.  Equal play time is not guaranteed in tournaments.  Prayer is incorporated into practices and games to give all glory and honor to our Lord.  Shanely Head Coach Alexis Bachmeier serves as our Coaching Director.
