Deacon Flames will provide an opportunity for youth to increase their skills to prepare for a higher level of competition in organized sports.  Deacon Flames will teach teamwork and sportsmanship in an atmosphere that is positive and constructive for all players.  Deacon Flames recognizes all abilities are provided by the one triune God so all glory and honor will be given to Him.  

The Flame represents the Holy Spirit and the light of faith and knowledge. A lantern flame is also a traditional symbol of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, founders of St. JPII Catholic Schools.  (jp2schools.org)
